What is ID3global?

ID3global offers a worldwide perspective that makes it easier to understand cultural and legal requirements on a country-by-country basis. With our unique data matching capabilities, you can authenticate customers by matching personal information against reference data for more than 3 billion citizens across the globe, citizens from as far and wide as Europe, Asia, Pacific Basin, South America and North America. All brought together through one, easy-to-use portal or API. Powered by GBG’s award winning technology, ID3global helps businesses around the world sign-up new customers faster and more effectively than any other ID verification solution on the market.

It offers a robust solution for age verification and identity verification of individuals, providing clients with peace of mind – and an instant customer sign-up facility to drive through maximum revenues.

ID3global allows you to provide real time identity checking as part of your customer application process, using a standard web browser or as this guide will introduce, through an integration using our web service.

1. How Can I access ID3global ?

In order to utilise ID3global to its full potential, customers often choose to integrate with the authentication service. Although entering data through the ID3global system directly, has its uses and benefits, many clients often require a customer facing solution to compliment there existing portal access.

ID3global services can currently be accessed via three main channels:

Portal

We provide our own front end solution to the web service where you can authenticate user information directly via the Live portal.

Batch

If you have a large amount of customer data that you wish to run, we offer a batch service where you can send data files via a secure service and we will run the data against your account to provide you with a full audit trail.

Integration

You can code directly to our web service and essentially use ID3global behind the scenes in your application. Integration gives you the option to on-board customers through your existing website for example and utilise the power of ID3 as it sits behind the scenes of your customer process. Integrating with the service is a simple as we have one API, with this comes complete flexibility as you are able to completely configure the service to your needs.

Integrating streamlines the on-boarding process as any manual data entry carried out by employees is removed or greatly reduced. Also by intelligently coding a user friendly interface, customers are able to benefit from a fast and efficient customer experience.

2. Platforms

ID3global has two separate platforms, a Live and a Pilot site.

Developers are asked to perform their coding against the ID3global Pilot Web Service. This initial testing allows you to develop a fully functional integration with the safety net of test data and the knowledge that your code has been tested before you interact with live chargeable data.

Pilot Site

Overview:

  • The site is not chargeable but a fair usage policy applies.

  • Features a mixture of old, incomplete and test data.

  • No footprints are left by authentications.

  • Less robust platform

  • 24/7 access is not guaranteed.
